Reggie – 9 year old male Whippet Cross

July 5, 2019

Reggie is a nine year old small to medium Whippet cross. He is fostered in Norwich. Reggie has recently arrived in our care from a closing private shelter in Romania and is currently, for want of a better word, quite pitiful. He has been suffering for some time from a skin condition that they had tried to treat with limited resources without success. His coat is sparse and dull and he has sore patches from scratching himself raw. You can see in his eyes that he’s tired of this uncomfortable way of living and he has begun medicated baths since arrival here. This combined with living in a clean and stress free environment is already improving his physical condition and he will be shiny like new in no time.

Reggie is looking for a quiet home environment where he can still go for gentle walks but also rest and enjoy his retirement years free of stress and hardship. He is such a gentle and unassuming dog and needs encouragement to come forward for a fuss almost like he is awaiting permission because he doesn’t feel he’s worthy. This little dog is a humbling soul who will reward any kindness invested in him a thousand times over. He gets on well with other dogs of a similar quiet nature but would be equally as happy on his own.

Our adoption fee is £250. They are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless they are too young). If you are interested please message or call between 9am and 6pm.
