Simba – 3 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

February 8, 2019

Simba is a 3 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. Simba is looking for his forever home. He is aged around 3 but acts much younger. He is neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Simba can go with a dog aware cat. He is good with other dogs and would be fine with children aged 8 plus who are dog savvy. This is what his fosterer has to say about Simba: Simba is one of the most loyal, affectionate and clever dogs we have ever met. In the short time we have fostered him we have found him to get on well with other dogs both on and off lead. He comes when called and knows all the basic commands. He almost always does what is asked of him and just wants to please. He is playful and would benefit from a home where he would get lots of exercise. He needs someone who has the time to give him further training and the attention he loves. The bind he forms with you is incredible( especially men). He just wants to be with you and struggles to be left and wants to be involved in everything you are doing. He can be left on his own though for a few hours without being destructive. The only thing he has destroyed are his toys ( typical of his breed!!).

Simba only negative is that he can have issues with his toys when he first meets you and will guard them. After a week in foster he now gives up his toys happily and plays bringing toys back. It is purely because he doesn’t know or trust you to begin with for the first few days. If you lay down rules he tends to learn them quickly and adhere to them.
